Ryan Stein is a business and financial analyst for Continuum Capital. He is passionate about leading people, driving change, designing effective teams, and solving thorny business, financial, and management challenges. Ryan’s understanding of engineering solutions and effective small group leadership originates from his academic and military experience.
Ryan supports Continuum’s clients by conducting detailed financial and quantitative analysis to uncover hidden patterns, correlations, and insights. He is responsible for the creation, refinement, and improvement of excel-based models, client financial reports, and research presentations. His passion is in connecting business and engineering concepts to increase efficiency, raise productivity, and improve profits for all parties involved.
Ryan is well-versed in the aviation and national security sectors. As an Air Force ROTC cadet, he served as the Vice Wing Commander for Detachment 595 at North Carolina State University, was a Cadet Training Assistant at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, and a Squadron Commander for the George V. Holloman Squadron of the Arnold Air Society in North Carolina. Additionally, he is experienced in successful leadership techniques, mitigating large scale business risks, and achieving engineering efficiencies.
Ryan’s skill and expertise are recognized through numerous awards from the Air Force ROTC, including Graduate honors in Field Training, the Sons of the American Revolution award for military excellence, and the Order of the Daedalions Academic and Leadership award. Additionally, he is a repeat recipient of the Chick-Fil-A Remarkable Futures award for his noteworthy customer service.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
